Cloverdale

Cloverdale is part of a group of nine homes owned by a family.  The family has been in the caring business for a period of 15 years and take a very active part in running the business.  One of the proprietors is a Registered Mental Nurse.

 

Four of these homes are around the Grimsby area (Waltham, Laceby, Bradley and Grimsby) in North East Lincolnshire, two of the homes are in villages (Burringham and Haxey) in North Lincolnshire and the remaining three homes are in Dewsbury in Kirklees.  

 

The services that the group provides vary from residential care for the elderly right through to EMI Nursing Care for the elderly.

 

From a company structure point of view, the group is called Dryband One Ltd.  Dryband owns all of the shares of three subsidiary companies called Northfields Care Homes Ltd., Isle Care (Axholme) Ltd. and P B Residential Care Homes Ltd.

 

 This financial structure is primarily due to the manner in which Dryband expanded to acquire the other homes. It is company strategy to ‘market’ each home with its own identity and name rather than marketing the group.  This way the residents and staff of the Home associate with the Home’s identity rather than the group.
